We are still struggling with our illness, so we limited our mileage to around 50 miles. That meant we needed to find a motel within that distance. Two possibilities along our planned route did not pan out, so we changed our route and went due south to Grenada. Surprise, surprise, surprise. One hill after another, and not the kind you can glide up, given the stiff headwinds. But we persevered and are now at the Holiday Inn Express, cooling our hoofies. The road we traveled, US 51, was scenic, much of it tree-lined. Traffic was modest. We didn’t have much interaction with people today, but there were occasions when folks sitting out on their porch would call out to us, asking where we were from and where we are going. We always shouted back with bravo, more than we actually felt.
...lazy rivers.
And the shade made the ride cool enough for two weak kittens to finish it.
And there was even a little bit of "Americana" for the AGO Team.
Tomorrow calls for morning rain. We may stay another day in Grenada. Deep in the South. Rob and Diane
