1 potato, 2 potato, Sweet Potato Pie - Grenada to Houston.

It was a good day.  We are regaining our strength.  Rob even had the energy for photo ops.
The ride was through beautiful southern forest and farm country.  Many of the hills were gliders or close enough, and most of the up-hills were in full or partial shade most of the day.  We had great pavement some of the time and favorable wind most of the time.
We met some really nice people. In the South more than any other part of the country people are apt to engage you about “where are you riding from and where are going?”  And we visited the sweet potato capital of the world.
Did we mention the morning ride started with us caught up in a manhunt for a fugitive. We were warned "if a man in green shirt runs up to you don't stop."
But the ride soon fell back into a ramble down a tree lined hwy. But in some places overrun by Kudzu.
Ok, quick quiz. What is this?
Well it is a big bale of cotton.
Next stop was Calhoun City, MS, where we ate a bite in the town's square.
Where Rob spotted an interesting co-habitation of a building on the southeast corner of the square.
The law office was open. The church was not. Not sure if there is some cosmic significance.
Then it was off to Vardaman. The SWEET POTATO CAPITAL OF THE WORLD.
And home of Sweet Potato Sweets. Where we bought some truly unbelievable sweet potato confectionaries and bread.
And the AGO Team was fascinated by a display of ugly or interestingly shaped Sweet Potatoes.

Tomorrow we spend our last day in Mississippi. Then it's sweet home Alabama. Rob and Diane
