Yes we are still in Wyoming.
A 7.5 hour biking day with 5.8 hours of it actually biking, over some 66 miles. Diane enjoyed her bottle of Pepsi early in the day, with the beans, rice and cheese enchilada leftovers from last night’s dinner. Yum. Today, we had it all. Good winds, bad winds. Good roads, bad roads. Easy uphills with long glides, long uphills with no glides. And two miles of construction with no rides in the pilot truck—instead, we bumped along on a “milled roadbed” which to a bicyclists translates to a “waffle iron surface.” From the Road, Diane and Rob
PS Yesterday while Diane worked, the AGO gang decided to checkout Douglas. They discovered that every Wyoming town has a liquior store with a feature peculiar to Wyoming - the drive up liquior window.
Part of the group wanted to celebrate the trip to date back in their room, but others wanted to check out the poker game at the Lone Wolf Saloon. But in the end, they all settled for a drink at the College Inn (and establishment on the National Historic Regrister).
